Item/Collection Note: Young E. Allison, a Kentucky poet and writer, penned "Derelict" at the end of the nineteenth century. It was marketed as "a reminiscence of Treasure Island", and from it we get the popular idiom "Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum!"
