Kentucky Library Broadside Collection #S1286
Journalism in ante-bellum Kentucky was quite strong. This listing of newspapers from 1787 to 1833 is extensive (153 titles), although some of the titles have few extant copies available. It should come as no surprise that a number of the titles are religious publications. Unfortunately the source of this broadside cannot be determined; perhaps an early press association printed the piece.
