Collection
More than 15,000 photographs await you. You may find family
photographs or simply images that will teach you how they
lived. The majority of the photographs concern south central
Kentucky during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. We
also have hundreds of glass lantern negatives and slides,
some of which have national or international significance.
Search in-house indexes by family names, place (county, state,
foreign nation), activity (farm scene, parades, sports), events
(holidays, World War II), type of structure (steamboats, stage
coaches, schools, dwellings) and an infinite variety of other
topics.
