Kentucky Library and Museum historic entrance
Research Fellowship

The Kentucky Library & Museum (Special Collections) at Western Kentucky University offers a fellowship of $500 to a faculty member and/or graduate student to encourage his/her scholarly use of its nationally significant collection. The funds may be used for travel expenses to Bowling Green and for reproduction fees. Letters of application must demonstrate how the Kentucky Library & Museum collections are relevant to the writer’s topic and suggest how the research will lead to a scholarly publication or presentation.

The Library and museum collection are especially strong for the antebellum, Victorian and Civil War eras of Kentucky and the South, and in religion, the Shakers, textiles and furniture and Victorian toys.
