Johnson The Senior Class on the Hilltop have placed a stone sundial in the gardens behind Potter Hall as their class gift to the College. The base of the sundial is inscribed as follows: "Erected in Memory of Lowe G. Johnson by the Senior Class of 1933." Mr. Lowe G. Johnson, before his death last January, was one of the most popular instructors on the staff of the History department, and sentiment was strongly in favor of the dedication of the gift to Mr. Johnson. On the bronze face of the dial there is the following raised words, "My Hours are made of Sun and Shade." The sundial was purchased by the Class from the proceeds of this year's successful Senior Play and from other class entertainments during the past year.
