catalog for print and microform books, journals at WKU.

services are recommended for courses for first-year students and non-majors:
- ABI/INFORM
Global (ProQuest)- Index with abstracts of over 550,000 articles
in nearly 1500 global business periodicals; 700 full text titles with
coverage back to 1991/92 and indexing back to 1971.
- Business
Source Premier (EBSCOhost) KYVL- Index with full text for more than
2300 global business journals, including full text for more than 1100
peer-reviewed titles.
- Google
Scholar: A free Web-based Google service that restricts searches
to the scholarly literature. Now features linking to full-text of articles
held by WKU.
- Wall
Street Journal (Full-text in ABI/INFORM)-
Wall Street journal articles, Eastern edition, 1984-Current. Subject/date/other
indexing.

services are recommended for use by advanced students and researchers:
- CHECKPOINT-
Tax accounting news and research materials from RIA Group for accounting
industry. Requires ID and password for access.
- Disclosure
Reports - (LexisNexis Academic Business Company Profiles).-Financial/management
information from SEC reports for over 10,000 publicly owned companies;
selection of companies by multiple features.
- EDGAR
Database of Corporate Information- Company annual reports on Form
10K or 10-KSB and other forms filed with the Securities and Exchange
commission, since 1-1994.
- Standard
& Poor's Research Insight CD-ROM- Index to financial data, including
20 years of annual data, extracted from over 11,300 U.S. and Canadian
public companies; over 80 predefined report formats. Minor installation
on individual computers necessary
- Valueline.com-
Weekly stock and industry analysis for 1,700 companies in about 96 industries.
