Off Campus Access of ProQuest Databases

ProQuest consists of five databases: ABI/Inform, Alt-Press Watch, Career & Technical Education, Computing, and The (Historical) New York Times (1851-2001).

  • ABI/Inform contains citations to journal articles (and some full text materials) on topics in business, and other related subjects.
  • Alt-Press Watch has the full text of over 170 newspapers, magazines and journals of the alternative and independent press.
  • Career & Technical Education contains citations and full text articles from vocational and technical periodicals covering all aspects of the Vo/Tech curriculum.
  • ProQuest Computing includes citations and full text articles on software, hardware, e-commerce, Web site development, intranets and extranets, systems design, databases, and technology management. The database also contains thousands of product reviews.
  • The (Historical) New York Times (1851-2001) offers full page and article images with searchable full text back to the first issue. The collection includes digital reproductions providing access to every page from every available issue. Select News - The Historical New York Times under the database selection dropdown list.
