TOPCAT is the libraries’ online catalog, and lists books, newspapers, magazines, journals, and microform collections owned by WKU Libraries. Search TOPCAT with a Basic Search using Title, Keyword, Author, Subject, Journal title, or Call Number. You can also do a Guided Keyword Search. TOPCAT allows you to use Boolean operators (AND, OR, and NOT).

TOPCAT also allows you to search for course reserve materials that your professor has placed on reserve, organized by instructor, department, or course name.

(TOPCAT will not help you find newspaper, magazine, or journal articles. To find articles on a specific topic, use our Online Research Databases or the printed indexes and abstracts in the Reference section on the first floor of Helm.)
