Additional Ways of Giving: Planned Giving, Payroll Deductions & Gift-in-kind Planned
Giving Opportunities
Planned giving options lend financial assistance to the University Libraries and provide income tax deductions of estate tax savings for the donor. Gifts through life insurance, wills, real estate and various trusts allow individuals to make a significant impact while fulfilling other financial and estate planning objectives. Your tax advisor can determine if planned gifts can enhance your financial and estate plans. Contact the Development Office for more information.
Payroll Deductions
Payroll deduction is a convenient way for WKU faculty or staff to join Friends of the Library or Kentucky Musuem Associates. By completing a simple payroll deduction form, a designated amount can be deducted from each paycheck to support the Libraries or Museum. You can terminate or change your deduction at any time by completing another form. Contact the Development Office for more information. Gifts-in-Kind In addition to cash gifts, gifts-in-kind of books, artifacts, art, museum items, equipment, supplies, and services are accepted by the University Libraries and The Kentucky Museum based on their appropriateness for use in their collections. Income tax credit may be available to the donor based on IRS guidelines for non-cash gifts. For more information, please contact: Carrie
