Margie Helm Award for Outstanding Team

Purpose: The purpose of this award is to recognize team-based, unit-based, or cross-departmental projects or initiatives that represent a significant achievement during the year or a project that has a defined term of accomplishment. Such an initiative involves two or more individuals and could not be accomplished by one individual. Each team member will receive a certificate of recognition. The award will be given in years when an achievement of merit has occurred.

Application Process

Completed nomination form shall occur at the same time as the already established Margie Helm Awards for the outstanding faculty member, staff, and students. Each nomination shall include:

1. Name of person submitted nomination
2. Nature of the project being nominated.
3. Impact of the project on University and Library goals.
4. Names of ALL those involved in the project.

The decision for the award shall be made by the dean and department heads.

The winners shall be added to the Web site along with the recipients of all awards.
