WST Minutes

Date: February 8, 2000

Members Present: Bryan Carson, Deana Groves, Jonathan Jeffrey, Rosemary Meszaros, Donna Parker, Sandy Staebell and Haiwang Yuan

1. The Team reviewed an upgrade of the UL home page: 1) the new color scheme, orange, dark orange and red, and 2) the split of the category "Department & Collections" into separate "Department & Areas" and "Collections" categories. The Team recommended the orange color and endorsed the category split.
2. The Team spent the rest of the time working hard to select web sites they had evaluated previously using the online evaluation form created by Haiwang.
3. Haiwang will work out a template to present the links on each of the category pages.
4. Team members were assigned to finish the evaluation and come up with a name for the information gateway page.
5. The next meeting is scheduled at 1:30pm on March 21 in Helm 5 to finalize the InfoGateway project.
