arren County, established in 1797, covers 545 square miles
in south central Kentucky. Kentucky's 24th county was formed from
parts of Logan County and named for General Joseph Warren, a hero from the American Revolution's Battle of Bunker Hill.
Bowling Green, established in 1798, is now Kentucky's fifth largest city and a "Hall of Fame" Kentucky Certified City. Bowling Green was also a 1995 Finalist Community in the Alliance for National Renewal's All-America City Awards.
