| A resolution passed by the 1796 General Assembly and signed by the Governor called for the creation of Warren County, to become effective March 1, 1797. Bowling Green, its county seat, was founded in 1798. Please join us as we celebrate the bicentennial of our county and our community. We are celebrating our heritage as a proud, hard-working people, striving toward the promise of progress and a bright future as we pass through the archway into arenas yet experienced but eagerly anticipated. |
