The WKU Health Services will file insurance claims in most cases. Your insurance can be filed more efficiently if you have your insurance card at the time of service.

¹ With Aetna HMO plans the insured needs to go to their employer and get an enrollment form and say they are an "out of area dependent."
²Blue Cross/Blue Shield has revised many of their plans, it is advised that you call your plan provider and determine if you need a new card.
³CIGNA - If the insured has an out-of-state HMO plan they need to contact CIGNA to see if their plan offers Guest Privileges.

To verify that your insurance is in network with WKU Health Services you will need to give Western's tax ID #616055628 to your insurance company. Clinical physicians are Robert A. Redden, M.D. and Patricia A. Blewett, M.D.

Please note: we will courtesy bill any insurance with the exception of Medicare/Medicaid. Payment and coverage amounts will differ according to the insurance company's plan/benefit design and out-of-network benefits.

Please be prepared to pay your copay at the time of service.
