Staying healthy takes knowledge. Our health promotion program offers education and awareness services. These services are designed to enrich the lives of students. The Health Service staff focuses on proactive health education and disease prevention objectives.
We work closely with other campus departments and the community to provide educational forums, workshops, referrals, training programs, and resource materials to educate students. Topics include alcohol, women's and men's health, cancer, nutrition, exercise, eating disorders, stress and more.
If you are interested in working with these issues and mentoring your fellow students on the importance of responsible, healthy lifestyle development, please click on our TopperWell page for more information about becoming a Peer Health Educator. Internships and student practicums are also available.
