 There are a variety of clinical services offered to the campus community, in addition to primary care and referrals. Office visits are provided by a staff physician or advanced nurse practitioner. 
- Internal Medicine/Primary Care
- Office Visits/Examinations and Assessments
- Physicals - includes employee, nursing & teacher physicals
- Family Medicine
- Routine Treatments and Screenings: These include dressings, suturing, and blood pressure checks.
- Urgent Care: for injuries & acute health issues.
- Sports Medicine: This includes acute injuries.
- Women's & Men's Health Care: includes physicals, pap smears, breast & testicular exams & instruction, etc. Testing is available for sexually-transmitted infections, including HIV (check our main webpage for occassional free HIV testing offers).
- Health Counseling
- Immunizations: Click Here for a list of vaccines that WKU Health Services recommends. It is important (even as an adult) to keep immunizations up-to-date (i.e. Flu, Hepatitis, etc.). As well as there are certain illnesses that people in a college setting (living in dorms, or with several roommates) are more prone to. Meningitis is one of them and it is recommended by the American College Health Association (ACHA) that any student that is living in a dormitory/residence hall or in close quarters with other students receive the Meningitis vaccine called Menomune. The Health Services has the Meningitis vaccine along with other vaccines available.
- Laboratory Tests: These include a variety of tests ordered by a physician or nurse practitioner.

- Contraceptive Services: This includes birth control counseling and sexual health products, such as free condoms.
- X-Ray Services: These include those ordered by a physician or nurse practitioner, as well as routine x-rays.
- Pharmaceutical Dispensary: A new pharmaceutical dispensary is now available. This includes the most commonly prescribed medicines (i.e. oral contraceptive pills, antibiotics, allergy, etc.) to students, faculty, and staff. Over-the-counter medicines (i.e. for common colds, headaches, etc.) are also available. For more information, call 745-5641.
- Travel Clinic: If you are traveling out of the country, we can help you determine any immunizations you may need to enter & return from the trip. We can also assist you with any health concerns at your travel destination.
- Allergy Clinic: If you need allergy injections on a regular basis, we can store your meds for you and provide your injections. Please call (745-5641) to determine details of how to set up your injection treatments & medicine storage.
