What is Hepatitis?

Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver caused by medicines, alcohol, or a variety of other factors including the visurs that causes infectious mononucleosis (mono). When health professionals are speaking/referring to viral hepatitis, they usually mean hepatitis caused by the hepatitis A, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C virus.


Does Health Services offer the Hepatitis A & B Vaccines?

Yes, there is a vaccine for Hepatitis B and a vaccine called Twinrix for both Hepatitis A & B.

- The cost for the Hepatitis B Vaccine is $130 per injection (3 separate injections) and for the Twinrix is $150 per injection (3 separate injections).
