Big Red Dollars

Big Red Dollars is a very convenient way of making many different types of purchases for many different products all over campus. Big Red Dollars can be used at various vending machines (no more digging for change) such as soft drink machines, snack machines, and laundry equipment. It is also accepted at the following: WKU Bookstore, Preston Recreation Center, Student Health Services, all WKU Dining Services facilities, WKU Parking & Transportation Office, Computer Labs, and the WKU Post Office. Also, beginning with the Fall, 2007, semester, many off-campus vendors will accept Big Red Dollars.

A minimum deposit of $20 is required for debit/credit deposits, and a minimum of $10 for cash and check deposits is required. Big Red Dollars will roll over every semester.

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars is the "food" account here at WKU. It can be used at all of the WKU Dining Services facilities on campus. You have the added security of not having to carry cash for your food purchases, plus it’s quicker than having to gather up the correct change for your payment, so you’ll move through the cashier’s line quicker. Another plus--no sales tax is applied to your purchase if you pay with Dining Dollars, and there are added incentives such as Dining Dollar discounts in selected food locations! Meal Plans

Meal plans are also available to use through your WKU ID Card. There are several different meal plans. These plans are the biggest money value for people who plan to eat most of their meals on campus. They also have Meal Dollars (works just like Dining Dollars) incorporated with them to provide the best deals for all your eating needs. All of these accounts can be purchased at the using Topnet, and will be put on your WKU ID Card. You can use one, two, or a combination of all three accounts--whatever best meets your individual needs, and they are all easily accessed by your WKU ID Card.

Meal plans are purchased for each semester, and Meal Plan Dollars will roll over from the fall to the spring semester.

• Go to the meal plan form
