SUMMER FINANCIAL AID

You no longer need to request an application for summer financial aid. Once you are enrolled we will determine your eligibility and contact you by email regarding either Pell Grant or loan eligibility. Please allow at least two weeks for your aid to be awarded. Summer 2011 is considered part of the 2010-2011 academic year. In order to receive financial aid for summer 2011, students must have a 2010-2011 FAFSA on file. The deadline to file a 2010-2011 FAFSA is June 2011.

You will be notified of an award through your WKU email account. If you are on a probationary status or approved appeal for the Spring term, your eligibility for summer aid won't be considered until after spring grades are posted. Please continue to check your TOPNET account.

Consortium students must complete a Consortium Request form.

Independent Learning students must sign an Independent Learning Agreement. Independent Learning students must take an equal or greater number of regular or web classes ( including Independent Learning web classes) to the number of Independent learning classes you wish to take.
