Enrollment Requirements During the summer sessions, a student does not have to be enrolled to work on-campus as long as he/she is returning at least part-time the following fall semester. If a student is not returning for the following fall semester, he/she is only eligible to work during the summer session through which he/she is enrolled.
If a student was cleared to work on-campus and then became denied academically at some point during the assignment (enrollment dropped after receiving aid, fall grades reviewed, etc.), the student would be notified to cease employment.
During the summer session, a student can usually work up to 40 hours per week during the periods of non-enrollment, and 30 hours per week during any period of enrollment. (However, if a student is not returning at least part-time the following fall semester, he/she is only eligible to work through the session in which he/she is enrolled).
