- First Year Creative Writing Major Scholarships /(2): a one time scholarship ($1000) for first year students majoring in creative writing (any genre). Requirements: high school g.p.a. of 3.2 or higher, ACT English score of 25 or higher, completed WKU scholarship application for beginning freshmen (www.wku.edu/Info/FinAid/faforms.htm) with writing sample. The writing sample must include examples from at least two different writing genres (fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, drama); maximum of 20 pages. Applications (with writing sample) must be postmarked by January 15.

OGDEN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS:
The Ogden Foundation awards scholarships for $750 per semester annually for beginning freshmen and returning students. Minimum criteria: Kentucky resident, rank in the top 15%, ACT composite of 26 (or 26 in math and

WKU ALUMNI CHAPTER OF GREATER LOUISVILLE:
Applicants must be residents of Jefferson County, KY. Three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded based on leadership, activities, and high school involvement. Students must be enrolled for the fall term at WKU. Recipients will receive one half for the fall term and the reamining one half for hte spring term. Final selection of the recipients is based on leadership skills, g.p.a., extracurricular activities, financial need, application information, and interview results. Interviews will be scheduled for the finalists. All scholarship applicants will be notified by late April/early May. Applications must be complete for consideration and applications must be postmarked by February 15th. Make sure your name is on every page and applications must include the application form, a current official transcript, two letters of recommendation and counselor verification of g.p.a., program of academic study and ACT scores.
