DIRECTIONS
TO CAMPUS
IF
YOU ARE TRAVELING NORTH ON I-65 (from Nashville):
- Take exit #20 for the William Natcher Parkway (note: the Parkway
dead ends into I-65 so you can only go one direction on it)
- Take exit #5 off the William Natcher Parkway for US-68
- Turn right off the exit ramp
- You will travel approximately 2 miles, go under a train trestle, and
come to a stop light at University Boulevard
- Turn left on University Boulevard
- University Boulevard is a 4-lane road; get in the left hand lane on
the right side.
- You will pass the baseball field, the football stadium, and the basketball
arena (all on your right). Just past the basketball arena is a parking
structure with a stop light next to it; go straight at this stop light.
- Approximately a block and a half up the street on your left you will
see parking for the Kentucky Museum/WKU Welcome Center. Park in this
lot and proceed across the street to the Kentucky Museum/WKU Welcome
Center.
IF
YOU ARE TRAVELING SOUTH ON I-65 (from Louisville):
- Take exit #22 for US-231
- Turn right off the exit ramp.
- The stop lights are numbered. Travel until you reach stop light #1.
US-31W intersects with US-231 at this light. Turn left here.
- After turning left, go to the 2nd stop light and turn right onto University
Boulevard
- University Boulevard is a 4-lane road; get in the left hand lane on
the right side
- You will pass several residence halls on campus, the baseball field,
the football stadium, and the basketball arena (all on your right).
Just past the basketball arena is a parking structure with a stop light
next to it; go straight at this stop light.
- Approximately a block and a half up the street on your left you will
see parking for the Kentucky Museum/WKU Welcome Center. Park in this
lot and proceed across the street to the Kentucky Museum/WKU Welcome
Center.
IF
YOU ARE TRAVELING ON THE WILLIAM NATCHER PARKWAY (from Owensboro):
- Take exit #5 off the
William Natcher Parkway for US-68
- Turn left off the exit
ramp
- From this point, follow
the same directions for people traveling north on I-65 beginning with
step #4.
ALTERNATE
PARKING AREAS
If parking at the Kentucky Museum is full, check
the Visitor's Guide which you have been provided and seek out buildings
designated 14 and or 27, Diddle Arena or Facilities Management parking
structure, respectively on Big Red Way. You may park in either of these
parking areas/structure as long as the sign in the parking spot you chose
does not indicate it is a tow-away zone.
IMPORTANT
PARKING NOTE: Avoid parking in
any space which is RESERVED. Towing from these spaces is strictly enforced.
GUEST PERMITS ARE NOT VALID
FOR THESE RESERVED SPACES.
