Just like people, college campuses have personalities.  When you meet people, you typically take some time to get to
know them, making sure your personalities are compatible. The campus visit is your opportunity to “get to know” a
college campus.  You’ll meet students, faculty, and administrators and get idea about what is important to that
institution.  This will help you make the best possible decision as you determine the path for your continued education.

The WKU family welcomes you to visit our campus.  We offer daily campus tours Monday through Friday.  We also
offer Saturday tours on select Saturdays during the fall and spring semesters.  Your campus visit will include an
informational session conducted by one of our Admissions Counselors, a guided tour by a WKU Student Tour Guide
which includes a bus portion to give you a comprehensive view of campus and a walking portion where you will be able
to see inside our student center, a residence hall, a classroom building, and our student workout facility.  Also, upon
request, we will attempt to arrange an opportunity for you to meet with a departmental representative in your academic,
athletic, or extracurricular interest.

You can schedule a campus tour by going through our online reservation system or by calling the office at 800-4-WKU
INF.  If you go online, make sure that you list any departmental appointments in the comments section of the
reservation form.  If you call in your reservation, make sure you let the person taking your information know you would
like to meet with a departmental representative. You should allow at least three hours for your tour experience from
start to finish.
