Why did you choose to attend WKU?

My older sister Megan began attending WKU in 1995.
Although, I was only 9 years-old at the time, I knew I was
going to be a Hilltopper just like her. I attended Focus on
WKU in the fall of 2002 and that sealed the deal for me
because everyone on campus was very welcoming and
friendly. WKU was the only college I applied to during my
senior year of high school!

What sets WKU apart from the other schools?

Our Spirit! The faculty, staff, alumni, students and friends
of WKU take so much pride in our institution. “The Spirit of
WKU” is what compels us to gladly support each other,
while succeeding in all endeavors. “The Spirit of WKU” is a
common bond shared between all members of the WKU
family!

My favorite WKU tradition and/or memory is:

Sorority recruitment week, Football Homecoming and
Greek Week.

The two things I encourage future students to
check out:

1) A residence hall
2) The food on campus

With over $80 million recently spent on residence hall
renovations and 27 dining locations on campus to choose
from, why not check them out?

What is your favorite spot on WKU's campus?

My favorite spot on WKU’s campus is the colonnade.
This area is rich in history and aesthetically pleasing.
Not to mention, the colonnade is close to the library and
Java City.
