"How do I sign up for Intramurals at Western?"
It is very easy to sign up for an intramual sport at Western Kentucky University. If you follow five easy steps you can be having fun in no time. If you have any questions please come by the Intramural - Recreational Sports Office. It is located on the second floor of the Raymond B. Preston Health & Activies Center. The office hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. You can also give us a call at 745-6060.
 

Free Agents

If you don't have a team organized yet or you are new to WKU come by the Intramural-Recreational Spports office and sign for our Free-Agent program. Free agents are individuals that are not members of an organized team but would like to join one. The Intramural Office will make a list available to prospective players and teams. This information will help players in need of teams find teams in need of players. The Intramural Office will not place a person on a team. We will only furnish interested teams and players information. If there are enough players a "Free Agent" team will be organized and entered into a league or tournament.

Step #1

Look for information announcing upcoming events posted around campus, in the Preston Center and at the Hattie L. Preston Intramural Sports Complex, in the 2006-07 Intramural Sports Calendar, on The Big Red Info Channel and our at website: www.wku.edu/IMRec.

Step #2

Consult the rules governing eligibility and any other guidelines needed to enter an event. Come by the Intramural-Recrational Sports Office for any additional assistance.

Step #3

Fill out and submit a completed roster card: (Team Name, Player Names, Student Identification Numbers and Telephone Numbers). Return the completed card to the Intramural Office by the entry deadline date.

Step #4

Attend one of the two (4 pm or 7 pm) Mandatory Event Info Meetings. Event Info Meetings are held in Racquetball Court #9 of the Preston Center.

Step #5

Pick up your schedule at the Intramural - Recreational Sports Office and Play Ball!!!
