Leslie is the Senior Director of Development for Potter College of Arts & Letters.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Arts in English from Western Kentucky University and is an adjunct faculty member in the WKU Department of English.
Leslie was part of the development team for WKU’s first comprehensive campaign, Investing in the Spirit, which raised $102 million, including professorships in history, music, and journalism. She also completed a successful building campaign for the Adams – Whitaker Student Publications Building.
Leslie has served as President of the Bowling Green Junior Woman’s Club, the Head Start Policy Council, and the Symphony at WKU. She is a member of the Southern Kentucky Estate Planning Council, the Association of Arts &Sciences Advancement Professionals, and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
Leslie is married to Chris Watkins (’86, ’88), a Finance and Management Specialist with Training and Technical Assistance Services at WKU.
