Krista is in her seventh year of higher education advancement at Western Kentucky University. She was part of the team that led WKU in its first ever comprehensive campaign raising $102 million, including eight professorships in health and the sciences and one fully endowed chair in engineering. The campaign also expanded scholarship opportunities in all science and engineering disciplines.
Krista is active in CASE (the Council for Advancement and Support of Education) KY and the Engineering Development Forum, and she does volunteer work for her church youth organization.
Krista’s husband, Derron is Regional VP of Commonwealth Broadcasting and Executive Producer of the Big Red Radio Network. They have three girls, Logan, 16; Lyn Dawsyn, 11 and Landry, 5.
