"It was the WKU Honors College that led me to Tunisia for 6 weeks over the summer. It was an incredible experience, but the best part had to be the visit to the Sahara [right]. Dr. Cobane suggested that I apply. The program was through the U.S. Department of State National Strategic Language Initiative (NSLI), and was conducted under the auspices of the Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC). The State Department covered all costs.”
