The Decree of Excellence is an award given by the Coordinator of Membership at the end of each meeting to an HonorsTopper who had demonstrated excellence in any area of life that week, including academics, extracurricular work, volunteerism, or an excellent attitude. The Decree of Excellence recipient takes home a pennant on which they can make their mark in any form. The HonorsTopper brings it back each week to be given to the next recipient. The Decree of Excellence can go to a HonorsTopper more than once, as long as that HonorsTopper has demonstrated exceptional excellence. Honors Flair can be given by any HonorsTopper to any HonorsTopper at the end of each meeting. Honors Flair can be given for a good grade on a test, an inside joke, etc. |
