Amy Chester

A native of Hardin, MO, the land of floating caskets (google “Hardin, MO floating caskets” for a good read!), Amy comes to us with a Masters in Personnel Administration from the University of Central Missouri and a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Marketing from The Honors College at Central Missouri State University.  Amy’s experience as a student of an Honors College peaked her interest in high-achieving students, leading her to seek out this position advising honors students academically and organizing social events for our brightest students at WKU. 

Amy is in her first year working as a team member of the WKU Honors College.  She will be the primary advisor for Exploratory/Undeclared students and as a secondary advisor for all other Honors students.  But wait!  There’s more!  Amy also serves as our Program Coordinator, planning all of the exciting social events for our rising-star students that will make the WKU Honors College the envy of every other Kentucky institution.

In her spare time, you might find Amy playing with, shopping for or making bows for her yorkie pup, Miss Gabby or obsessing over her new handbag or shoes, or putting finishing touches on her new home.  Also a big football fan, Amy is looking forward to the completion of the new Houchens L.T. Smith Stadium to watch her Hilltoppers cream some D-I toosh.
