This is the long distance service we sell to the residential students of WKU. The cost of
Hilltopper Long Distance is $0.10 per minute; anytime, any day, and anywhere within the United States (calls
made to international locations are subject to our competitive international rates).
There are no other charges or fees, and there is no monthly minimum.
If a residential student wishes to sign up for Hilltopper Long Distance, s/he should go to Student
Telephone Services (DUC 128) and fill out an application. Upon receipt of application,
a student will be issued a unique 7-digit authorization code, which will allow that student to make long distance and directory assistance calls. By using that Authorization Code to make a long distance
call, a student agrees to the terms of service for Hilltopper Long Distance.
At the end of the billing period (usually 25-30 days), the long distance bill will be sent to the student's campus address.
If a student wants the bill sent to their permanent address, they can come to the Student Telephone Services office (DUC 128)
and make that request.
In addition to Hilltopper Long Distance we also offer residential students the Custom Calling package and Student Voice mail.
