When my number is called, instead of my phone ringing, the call goes straight to voice mail.  How can I correct this?

Pick up the phone, get a dial tone, press pound 6 (#6), wait for the confirmation tone (three short beeps) and then hang up.

What is the difference between the Corporate Calling Card and the Hello Hilltopper Calling Card?

The Corporate Calling Card is for faculty or staff members who need to make business calls off campus.  The card is billed to a faculty/staff member's department, and the department head must approve before anyone in a department can get a card.  The Hello Hilltopper Calling Card is for faculty, staff, and students to make personal calls from WKU or anywhere else they would use a calling card.

On my new extension I changed the voice mail greeting, but the person who had the phone last still has their name recorded on there.  How do I change that name?

From the Activity Menu (once you've logged in Audix), press 5 5 and follow the instructions.

How do I make international calls?

Dial 9 + 011 + country code + city code + phone number.  The '011' takes the place of the '1' you would dial for domestic long distance calls.

When I tried to check my voice mail the system denied me access to my mailbox, saying something about multiple users being logged into my account.  How can I fix this?

This sometimes happens when you hang up the phone to end an Audix session (as opposed to dialing **9 to exit the system), because merely hanging up the phone will not always disconnect you from Audix.  The system thinks there are multiple users trying to log in because you are still logged in from your previous session.  After a short while, the session will usually end and the system will let you back in.  If it doesn't, however, report it to us at extension 6370.  To keep this from happening, remember to end your Audix session by dialing **9 first and then hanging up the phone.
