Determine Whether Machine is Capable of Running new WKUNET (NAL) Interface
First, you need to determine which operating system you are running.
- If your machine is running Windows 95, you will see a button in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, labeled START.
- If your machine is running Windows 3.x, you will NOT see the START button. When you start the computer, the main system window is labeled PROGRAM MANAGER in the window title bar.
Determine whether your computer is capable of running the new version of WKUNET.
- If your machine is running Windows 95, your machine is capable of running the new version of WKUNET. Click here to continue to the WKUNET (NAL) Installation page.
- If your machine is running Windows 3.1 using the Novell 32 bit client, your machine is capable of running the new version of WKUNET. If you are running the older client, your machine will prompt you for a network login name before it starts Windows and before you see the Windows title screen. If you are running the new client version, you will see Windows before you are prompted to login to the network. If you are running the 32 bit client, Click here to continue to the WKUNET (NAL) Installation Page.
- If your machine is not currently running the 32 bit client, you can call Microcomputing Services and ask that the software be installed on your machine. However, the software cannot be installed if the machine does not meet free disk space and memory requirements.
