Crime Prevention Tips

To & from your car...

• Be alert to your surroundings.
• Be vocal in your assertiveness to stop unwanted attention.
  
• Never walk alone.
  
• If you are traveling alone, call someone to let then know you are leaving; buy a cellular phone; check the seats of the car before getting into it; and lock your doors immediately.
  
• Follow a well lighted path when walking at night.
  
• If you are being followed, go to a public place or police station before stopping.
