Incorporating a holistic approach to programming efforts, the Downing University Center's (DUC) staff developed a six component model to direct operations for this year. The components include leadership development, cultural diversity, entertainment, social issues, career development, and recreational opportunities. By connecting with each other strategic university offices such as the Career Services Center, Health Services, Residence Life and Campus Activity Board, the DUC is providing a variety of student learning and development opportunities. On a nightly basis, students are gathering at the DUC to participate in these efforts. |
