OSP Submit Program
**Implemented April 15th, 2009 by Dr. Richard Bowker, Vice President of Research**
This program is specifically designed to encourage faculty and staff to submit extramural grants. It provides incentive funds, based on the grant amount, to recognize the contributions of those who write and submit grant proposals.

Program Guidelines

Funds will be made available after proposals have received University clearance, have been submitted through OSP, and have been submitted to the funding agency. An email will be sent to each Project Director from OSP notifying them that the funds are available and spending may begin.

Funds can be requested by filling out a Request Form and returning it, along with the necessary signatures anddocumentation, to OSP.

Project Investigators/Co-PIs will have the fiscal year of submission and the following fiscal year to use the funds.

Proposals with two or more PIs/Co-PIs will receive 1.5 x the incentive amount for one PI.

Funds will be divided equally among PIs/Co-PIs, unless other arrangements are requested.

Faculty stipends or salary enhancements are not allowed. However, course releases for sponsored program activities, approved by the department chair, are applicable.
