The Western Kentucky
University Office of the Internal Auditor provides independent, objective
analysis and recommendations to assist members of the University in the
effective discharge of their responsibilities.
The primary duties of our office include the following:
1. Conducting audits, reviews, and evaluations
of management practices and procedures to determine if results are consistent
with University goals and objectives. For more details on the services

2. Recommending improvements and corrective
actions to management.
3.
Conducting follow-up on previously reported recommendations.
4. Issuing official University receipts or approving
the use of alternate receipts.
5. Monitoring Transmittal of Receipt forms.
6. Serving on University committees as requested.
