The Ombuds Officer serves as an available information source and point of communication for faculty and staff who believe they may have a personal grievance regarding an alleged violation, misinterpretation or improper application of University policies and procedures, or alleged improper treatment.

Currently, Dr. Karl Laves has been appointed as Ombuds Officer. His office is located in Potter Hall, Room 409 and his hours are 8am - 4:30pm. You may contact him by phone at 745-3159 or 781-5065 after hours or contact him by email.
