Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAFs) are now created entirely on the web in TopNet. This web based functionality allows electronic creation and approval of all personnel actions. Additionally, though printed copies are not required since EPAFs are approved online, they can be printed directly from the screen where they are displayed.
ORIGINATORS~
Those who create EPAFs will need to attend an EPAF training session offered by Human Resources and held once each quarter. To supplement the training session, there is an online video tutorial for originators to view as well, If you need to create an EPAF and you have not been able to attend training, email epaf.help@wku.edu and someone will contact you to assist.
APPROVERS and FYI~
Those who are named in the routing queue and need to approve or acknowledge EPAFs are not required to come to training in order to gain access to EPAFs on the web. To learn the approval process, view the online video tutorial. It takes just over 5 minutes.
