Welcome to the WKU Recycling Website.

WKU Recycling provides recycling services to the Main Campus, South Campus, WKU Center for Research and Development, and the WKU Farm.  Our commitment is to improve and expand campus recycling so that it is easy, efficient and sustainable.  The WKU recycling website will help keep you informed about our services and updated on campus recycling programs.

In 2006 164,550 pounds of cardboard and paper were recycled at WKU, about 4% of total waste generated on campus.  We can do better!  The result of a single dumpster audit suggests that at least 35% of our waste is recyclable.  Our goal is to increase campus recycling to capture all recyclable material.  Please help us reach this goal--reduce, reuse, and recycle!
