plan development and implementation
o Formulating
statement of student
outcomes/administrative objectives
o Identifying/selecting/designing
assessment methods and instruments (surveys,
exams,
rubrics, etc.)
Coordinate (in
conjunction with the UOAC Chair) the assessment plan Submission
and review process
o Maintain the web-based
submission process for assessment plans,
results,
and reviews.
Provide
seminars, workshops, and individual consultations
on assessment related issues
o Identify training
needs
o Identify and publicize
training workshops on assessment
Assist
academic programs and
administrative offices in developing
and implementing self-studies and
assessment plans to support program accreditation
o Monitor status
and maintain accreditation schedule
o Maintain file
of all accreditation self-study guidelines
o Work
with programs to integrate
assessment processes mandated by
program accreditations into the university’s assessment
process
o Actively
identify university and survey data
that may be useful
to the
programs in developing their self-studies
Assist
academic departments and
programs in preparation of Academic
program Reviews
Assist
academic departments and administrative
units in preparation of unit
productivity award applications
Support
the University Outcomes Assessment Committee
o Provide periodic
updates on assessment issues
o Facilitate
“lessons learned” meetings
Inform campus
community on assessment successes
o Identify
program and process
improvements resulting from assessment
process and summarize in an annual report |
