Interpreters

Interpreters facilitate communication among instructors,hearing students and deaf students in classes and academically related activities.
Interpreter triage-(order of priority):Academic Classes, required academic related functions, non academic function per availability.

Notetakers

Notetakers free students to visually attend to the instructoror interpeter.

Testing and Classroom Accommodations

* Testing accommodations, such as extended time, quiet room, and use of the computer assisted technology lab.
* Communication accommodations, such as interpreting, assistive listening devices, and notetaking.
* Other assistance such as qualified readers and/or scribes, for exams and alternative text formats.

Tutors

Tutors provided free of charge through The Learning Center and upon eligibility through Student Support Services and The Office of Diversity Programs.

Priority Enrollment

In order to provide quality services from the first day of classes, continuing undergraduate students receive priority registration.

Housing

Residence halls are equipped with visual emergency warning systems and provide door alert signals upon request.
