Additional Information when Ordering your Official WKU Transcript

  • Your mailed or faxed transcript request will be processed within 1 to 2 business days upon receipt by the Office of the Registrar, unless you have specified a delay due to an expected change or addition to your transcript, such as a grade change or degree posting.

  • If you order your transcript in person and would like it mailed, it will be processed within 1 to 2 business days, unless you have specified a delay due to an expected change or addition to your transcript, such as a grade change or degree posting.

  • For a more prompt delivery, you may request that the following mail service be utilized:
    • UPS Next Day Air (credit or debit card payment required)
    • UPS Second Day Air (credit or debit card payment required)
    • Express Mail through the U.S. Postal Service (additional $16.25)
    • Priority Mail through the U.S. Postal Service (additional $4.60)

  • Your transcript will not be issued until all holds have been removed and all outstanding bills have been paid to Western Kentucky University.

  • If your transcript is to be used for official purposes, it should be sent from Western Kentucky University directly to the school or agency, unless specified otherwise.

  • Transcripts cannot be emailed or faxed.

  • The Office of the Registrar cannot accept email or telephone requests for transcripts.
