Western's traditional commencement exercises are designed to honor the significant academic accomplishments of our students.  Many members of the academic community, faculty, administration and staff give of their time and effort so that these exercises will be a stately and memorable experience.  The pride Western feels in its graduates is reflected in the beauty and pageantry of this significant event.
The annual fall commencement ceremony recognizes students who will complete degree requirements at the end of the fall semester. The annual spring commencement ceremony recognizes students who will either complete degree requirements at the end of the spring semester or who will complete degree requirements during the summer term.
