CCSA
offers a wide variety of programs. WKU is affiliated with
the Cooperative Center for Study Abroad. (Visit the Study
Abroad Library for applications.)
CIEE
offers a wide variety of program and scholarship information.
(Visit the Study Abroad Library and meet with the study
abroad staff before applying to CIEE’s programs.)
Council
Travel offers fantastic deals on airline tickets,
information on work abroad programs, International Student
I.D. Cards, just to name a few. WKU no longer issues the
International Student I.D. Card. (Note: Many programs
provide you with this card, check before applying.)
Fulbright
Grants for students, faculty, and professional staff are
available. Consult the study abroad staff for information
on the current Fulbright student and faculty advisor at
WKU.
IIE
is a wonderful search engine of study abroad programs,
as well as scholarship information.
KCIE offers grants for faculty members. WKU is affiliated with
the Kentucky Council for International Education. Look
out for program information in February and March. Meetings
are held both in Fall and Spring semesters in differing
location.
KIIS
offers a wide variety of programs. WKU is affiliated with
the Kentucky Institute for International Studies. (Visit
the Study Abroad Library for applications.)
Mobility
International is an organization that works
with students with special needs. Information on specific
programs and scholarships is readily available.
Peterson's
is a wonderful search engine of study abroad programs.

A new resource available for students looking for last minute funding:
www.StudyAbroadLoans.com - Student Abroad Loan Program
The program is offered by the Student Loan Network and guaranteed by
the
TERI corporation (www.TERI.org), a non-profit guarantor of alternative
education
loans.
This loan does not need school certification, the student simply needs
to verify enrollment by providing a letter from the school or other
verification of enrollment. Students with a cosigner can apply online
and receive funds directly within 5 business days. There is no cost
to apply.

offers resources and information for those pursuing work
abroad. The site is useful for both professionals and
students.
Studyabroad.com
offers a search engine on study and internships abroad.
Join its live chat room and discuss study and travel abroad
with like-minded individuals.
Transitions
Abroad is a wonderful site that offers information
on study, volunteer, work and travel abroad. (Take home
magazines are available in the Study Abroad Library.)
Travel.com
offers extensive travel information and links to airlines,
accommodations, weather, foreign consulates, U.S. State
Department Travel Warnings, and various other organizations.
This is a perfect site to retrieve many important facts
about the country you wish to visit.

World Airport Guide This handy site has airport guides for most of the world's major airports, and they're chock-full of useful information. You can find out driving directions to the airport, the long and short-term parking situation, phone numbers for the airport information and help desks, whether there are ATMs, post offices, disabled facilities, shops, restaurants, and much more. This site also has country and city guides, with lots of information about customs, holidays, passport/visa regulations, maps, the business environment, public health, and more.
