WKU International Student:
The staff at the Western Kentucky University Office of International Programs is happy to welcome you to this university. We look forward to your academic career with us. Listed below are some very important points of information for you. Please read carefully and print all required documents*.
- Plan to arrive in Bowling Green on or before January 16, 2008. You will not be able to register until you have checked in with the Office of International Programs and attended the Orientation.
- You are required to attend the New International Student Orientation.
WHEN: Wednesday, January 16, 2008 TIME: 1:00 PM (Central Standard Time)
- You must also check in at the Office of International Programs on January 16, 2008 from 8:00AM until 12PM. You must bring your Passport, Visa, I-94, I-20.
- Please
print and read through the on-line Orientation
Packet* before arriving to WKU. We will
go over this information in orientation, please be prepared,
and bring a copy with you.
- Please

Student Responsibilities Contract*.
We will go over these responsibilities in orientation, please
be prepared, and bring a copy with you.

If you are planning to live on campus, you may check into
your room at Pearce-Ford Tower Residence Hall if it is during
the weekend or after 4:30 p.m. If you arrive during the
week during the day before 4:30 p.m., check in at the Housing
and Residence Life, Potter Hall 208. Please download, fill
out and bring with you the Housing Agreement Form. If you
want to live off-campus you my search for apartments for
rent near WKU on-line at the Daily
News.
- Please do NOT purchase health insurance before you leave your home country. You are required to have WKU's health insurance coverage through Academic Health Plans. Your health insurance fee will be automatically billed with your tuition and fees.
