Strengths of Gifted College Students:

Gifted students are among the brightest students on a college or university campus, and most professors enjoy having these students in class. Gifted students have several strengths: They are generally well-rounded, have strong self-concepts, do well in their courses, and enjoy learning. Another strength of being a gifted student is the ability to help their peers. Many gifted college students work as a peer tutor, which has been found to be an effective and beneficial approach to learning and teaching. Other strengths include having greater career opportunities, and perhaps a better chance to be accepted to a graduate program due to having an honors diploma.
