Learning Objectives:

Participants in this workshop will be able to:

  1. Describe how the adult learner approaches learning differently than children.
  2. Discuss what motivates adults to participate in higher education classes.
  3. Identify different modes of learning for adults (SVARK, Howard Gardner)
  4. Explain activities that will improve the learning of adults (Bloom’s Taxonomy).
  5. Identify other resources to help adults with their learning.
