Discussion Questions

1. Consider your life and how hectic it is. Now, under what conditions would you feel that you were able and/or needed to add the burden of taking a class to your life?
2. In what ways have you seen non-traditional students being challenged in your classes.
3. What activities do you feel you, as a teacher, can offer to help non-traditional learners see the relevance of your course?
4. What types of extra support, if any, do you offer to your non-traditional students?
5. Identify three ways you can modify your courses to better help your adult learners in your classes.
