The Center For Tecahing and Learning

Presented By:

Larry Caillouet, Dir. of WKU International Center

Services and Resources :

International students are usually unaware of the broad range of support services offered by WKU or other American universities, because their home universities do not usually provide these services. Even if they do know about these services, they may incorrectly assume that cultural differences would make these services irrelevant to them.

If you know that an international student could benefit from these services, it is usually best to make an appointment for them and/or to walk them to the office.

In addition to all the support services available to any WKU student, such as the Counseling Center, Career Services Center, Academic Advisement, etc., the Office of International Programs has personnel to assist international students or faculty who teach international students.

Wendell Sparks is the Coordinator of International Student and Scholar Services.

Heather Dearing is the International Student and Scholar Advisor.

They can both be reached by university e-mail or at 745-4857.
